Beautiful weather, Good Music, old and new friends and wonderful pet related fun…
Pet-a-Palooza was this past Saturday at Rusch Park. My Dad, Mom and I went and had a barking good time. The weather could not have been more perfect a nice breeze made it an absolute pleasure to be outside sunning your buns. Anything a dog could want could be found, from food and treats to cool puppy wear. A lot of great charitable animal organizations were present. We had a wonderful time! I got a chance to see some of the hardest working dogs around the Citrus Heights Police department Canine unit. Wow, if I were only taller and about 50lbs heavier I could picture myself as a police officer. I’m afraid at my height and weight now I would only be able to viciously gnaw on ankles. That being said I do appreciate the job that our law enforcement does both human and canine. The music was great, My Mom and Dad really enjoyed the music. I was a little concerned at first at a band called “Barenaked Ladies” I thought naked people were going to be playing music… Not, not, not family oriented… To my surprise I was very wrong, they were fully clothed and a lot of fun to listen too!! As you all know I have very pronounced ears… and on Saturday they were in full use with all the fantastic music provided for the event. My mom especially liked Alex Band..
I hope those of you that attended the event had as good a time as I did. For those of you who didn’t go I hope that they have another event next year so that you get a chance to experience a Great Day of Family, Friends, Community, Music and FUN!!!
Please check out a my photo album of the event on my facebook page
