Hello everyone,
As I'm writing tonight and I am very tired from a day of fun in the Ball Park.
Today was the 2009's second River Cats Bark in the Ball Park. As always it was a lot of fun for the whole family and this time that included dogs too.
The weather was a little warm but the company was good, I met some new friends today.
First I met Ginger she was a cute black dachshund.. Wow! she had dreadlocks, I thought she was really cute!!! I kinda have a crush on her. Then there was Carter, He was dressed up in a swim suit and goggles and ready to take a dip in the pool. With as hot as today was it probably wasn't a bad idea. Lola is a Bassett hound puppy and she was dressed up like the "Rivercats Claw" she was very sweet. Another cool customer who was sitting near us was Scooter he was dressed up like a Caterpillar, the costume rocked.
We all got to walk around the field before the game which is kinda cool if you like baseball like I do. Its interesting to see the field from the same perspective as the players.
I got to meet some of the great people that work for sacpaws.com. and the RiverCats.
check out the photos of the new friends I made and me in my James Bond Costume. (those of you who read my blog will know why) By the way I won for best dressed small dog...Go Figure!
All the people and dogs are really nice everyone seemed to have a wonderful afternoon. It was a great turnout and hopefully everyone will be back next year! Ginger if your reading this.... I will save you a spot in the shade on my speed racer beach towel.
GO RiverCats!!!!
Cheers, from the dog with the ears.....
